HIGH QUALITY FINISHING

The wooden external of the loudspeakers is finished with a special multi-coat paint, strictly hand applied with the use of high quality paints.

The painting process develops in several phases with automotive methodology and products only.

Each loudspeaker is treated with a spray application of the base putty which is then sanded.
Subsequently another layer of base is spray applied and sanded even more finely.
At this point the loudspeaker is ready for painting which is carried out in a specific oven.
The colored paint is spray applied with a double layer of application which is subsequently completed by the application of two coats of matt satin clearcoat. After a few hours of drying, the product is ready for the last phase of this process: polishing, which is handmade on each loudspeaker.

HDNSS TECHNOLOGY

The formula of HDNSS acoustic technology is based on several criteria and related algorithms, part of which are confidential and not disclosable. In the design process, the acoustic engineering of HDNSS technology emphasizes the physics and acoustic-dynamic approach rather than an electro-acoustic approach, as other brands tend to do.

UBSOUND firmly believes in a better acoustic result thanks to the help of this technology, restoring a more natural harmony and an experience which seems more analog rather than digital.

The HDNSS technology studies rely in part on the theories of the mathematical physicist Manfred Schroeder regarding the internal resonance of the loudspeaker and its soundproofing.

One application of our HDNSS technology is in relation to the soundproofing of the internal wooden panels of the loudspeaker, for which specific sound-absorbing coatings of different sizes, thicknesses, angles and materials have been used.

The perfect sound does not exist, but with this exclusive technology UBSOUND has been able to create a pure, natural and balanced sound. A sound that succeeds in reproducing an impressive amount of sound details with high fidelity, while retaining a slightly warm tone thanks the implementation of the exclusive conic-horn shaped bass reflex at calibrated pressure that plays a fundamental role in the homogeneity of the propagation of low frequencies below 200Hz. This generates an excellent listening soundstage.

The goal of HDNSS technology is to create an excellent natural and high definition acoustic signature, hence the acronym “High Definition Natural Sound Signature”.

B45 loudspeakers are designed to be placed on a stand or bookshelf.

All models are equipped with specific anti-vibration TPU gel feet.

The minimum size of the support surface on the shelf or stand must be 25 x 28 cm (10″ x 11″) or more.

All the details are studied to obtain a pure sound without vibrations that could disturb the acoustic naturalness.

Each driver is equipped with an L-shaped outer ring made of sound-absorbing wood.

The ring has the specific function of damping the passive concentric waves generated by any lateral vibrations of the driver during playback.

The rings are carved from the wooden slab and hand sanded one by one.

The thickness of the ring is 3mm (0.12 in).

The external of the wooden ring is finished with a special multi-coat paint, strictly hand applied with automotive methodology and products only.

The ring and the driver are strongly armed to the cabinet with 8 iron steel screws, that guarantee the perfect soundproofing of the loudspeakers.

3 YEARS WARRANTY

The manufacturer’s special 3 Year Warranty of the loudspeakers can be activate by carefully following the simple steps described in the two “Official Numbered Warranty Certificate” cards attached to the terminal audio contacts on the back of each loudspeaker.

Each numbered warranty certificate covers the relative loudspeaker, therefore both must be activated using the two different serial numbers.
